A must for anyone who loves vampires maybe a bit too much!
Vampires are sexy, and there's no mincing words about it. "The Sweetest Kiss: Ravishing Vampire Erotica" is a collection of short fiction focusing on the sexiest undead creature. The combination of horror, fear, taboo, eternal beauty, and other elements have attracted many to vampires, and those people will love this collection and its erotic focus on the sharp teethed seductresses. "The Sweetest Kiss" is a must for anyone who loves vampires maybe a bit too much!
The Sweetest Kiss: Ravishing Vampire Erotica
For people tired of the //Twilight// series, this book is a breath of fresh air into the vampire mythos. It channels the memory of Bram Stoker's //Dracula//, more along the lines of exploring the sexuality of the vampires, and how the bite of a vampire can be extremely erotic. The stories range from plot-driven, exploring the vampire and their life, to just four pages of sex with little plot. While most of the stories feature the men as the vampire, there are a few that feature women as the vampire as well, though there was a lack of homosexual stories, or LGBT stories as well considering that this is a wide open genre to explore this kind of sexuality.
There are some good stories, and then there are some so-so stories in this collection, though your vampire/erotica fan will generally be happy with the quality overall. D.L. King has done a good job of bringing together many different authors and writing styles, to bring us vampire stories that feel like the vampires of old, and not //Twilight// vampires. This collection is truly "sex with a bite."

There is something about how vampires and erotica seem to go together. In "The Sweetest Kiss" we get some of the best vampire erotica around today and we see that vampires want a bit more than blood. The vampire throughout literature has been the master seducer and his erotic charms and ways have been heralded in stories and books for many years.
In "The Sweetest Kiss" we follow stories that lead us not only into bedrooms but down dark allies and we explore erotic terror. Nineteen stories make up the anthology and there is a large cast of characters and creatures that are mesmerizing. It is quite easy to fall victim to these stories which give almost a new meaning to the word "sexy".
