This elegant two-tone dress watch from Movado's Kara series has a bold Museum dial and a slender, graceful silhouette. The black dial has gold-tone Dauphine hands and single concave dot marker at the 12 o'clock position. This is Movado's signature dial, made famous by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is framed by a round steel bezel. Graceful curved gold-tone lugs secure the case to a slender silver-tone bangle bracelet that fastens with a jewelry clasp. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement and a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Water-resistant to 30 meters, this watch can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming.

Great Grad Gift
This watch was a perfect gift for a college graduate. My daughter loved it.

Authenticity of Watch
The watch is nice - just as pictured and the value is good. However, when I received it, I was in a different time zone, and could not fix the time. I brought it to a Movado dealer listed in the book (which by the way was the wrong booklet for this particular style). And they argued with me about fixing the watch since the Warranty card was not signed and dated by the company who sold it to me. I did not appreciate the problem in receiving a new watch that was broken from the beginning, nor a warranty card proving it's purchase.

Beautiful
I purchased this watch as a Christmas present for a friend. My friend was absolutely delighted with it and can't thank me enough.. so much so..she is still thanking me now.. a month later!!! It is a beautiful watch..beautifully presented too. So glad i chose it.
