Buy new: $36.95 We actually have one that is one generation earlier than this one, and a second one that is two generations earlier than this one. The oldest one is the best (Big Bird lights up in this one) and Eddie quite likes this toy overall. It doesn't work perfectly, which the reviews seem to agree on, but it's still fun. C IS FOR COOKIE, THAT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME, YUM YUM YUM.

Buy new: $7.99 Great stacker. Slightly smaller rings than the classic version. Made of more rigid plastic than the orig, and the rings are filled with beans to make them rattle. Eddie continues to enjoy this one though at 9 mos he still doesn't do the stacking part. Shakes the rings like a tambourine.

Buy new: $24.00 Soft animal-themed nesting blocks. Simple, rather unintersting, but he sort of likes grabbing them and holding them aloft. The largest animal one is cute and he likes to look at the face and play with the ribbon sewn on it. We put this one on his head.

Buy new: $86.59 AWE.SOME. Buy one of these for your baby when he turns 4 or 5 mos old. They are hideous to look at but babies love them. Eddie still likes his at 9 mos (though it's clearly not as fun for him as it was earlier).

A+. Perfect at age 4 months and later. Lots of fun and easy activities for baby to discover. Eddie loves this.

Buy new: $12.02 One of Eddie's first toys, purchased when he was like 2 mos old. Now it's more of a comfort item than something he super-interacts with. But he always smiles when he sees it. Bought on amazon.

Buy new: $9.99 Not as appealing as Mortimer the Moose but still enjoyed by baby. Not as interesting to him at 9 mos as it used to be, but it remains a good take-it-in-the-car toy.

Buy new: $23.99 Got this at a consignment sale for $4. Not quite as good as the Infantino Activity Triangle but still VERY GOOD. He continues to play with this at 9 mos.

Buy new: $11.55 Not great, kinda cheapish. But cute -- got it at BRU for $10 and I'd say it's worth that. Push balls down thru treetop, hear music, voila, ball spirals down to the base. Baby's much more interested in putting the balls in his mouth (that's what she said!) than watching the spiralling. Maybe when he is a teeny bit older he'll like to activate the mechanism more.

Buy new: $11.99 A total necessity in the early months for bedtime. He doesn't use it anymore, because now he's so mobile and dextrous that it's more of a liability in the crib than a soother.

 | Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Rollin' Around Jungle Playground
Gift from maternal grandfather. Super super cute, but doesn't deliver. Poorly designed so rolling animals are not able to roll down the ramp without constantly stalling out and needing a nudge. Baby still likes this, though. Likes to play with red bird on top and swinging monkey.
