Two very important details on the Elektex smart touch pad: 1) It locks after you use it (as you can lock your Ipod, so it will not be accidentally operated) this way you can keep on listening to your music on the road without undesired interruptions. After it auto-locks, you need to unlock it by pressing the unlock button for 3 seconds. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT FACT, PLEASE DO NOT OVERLOOK 2) You must utilize both connectors to operate your ipod remotely and be able to listen to music. If you miss to connect the Ipod flat connector (at the bottom) you will not be able to control Ipod's functions - but will be able to listen to music only. If you do not connect the standard audio output to your Ipod, you will be able to control your Ipod but will not listen to music. The standard audio output can be used in case you are not using an Ipod, but will not be able to control your MP3/ FM Radio, etc. The controller supports the iPod, iPod mini, Nano and new video iPod. It is integrated in the strap of the bag, connecting to the space you choose to store the iPod. The space between keys is very intuitive and an automatic locking function prevents unintentional use of the controls. No battery is required as power is taken directly from the iPod (same case with non Ipod players).

"The Bag of the Future"
As ElekTex's motto states, "When you're wearing ElekTex, you're wearing the future!" this bag really is the bag of the future. The great part about the music control embedded in the strap is that it doesn't contain any wires or the like that could be destoyed by water, snow, and so on.
It also fit my laptop perfectly, has more than enough space for all of my books, and pockets (including one for a cell phone) in the front for all of my writing utensils and other stuff I carry around.
