New and old come together in an unforgetable album5
I downloaded the free offering from this album 'Dead Sound' and was instantly hooked on the Raveonettes blend of 50's-60's rock n roll guitar with modern Indie sound. The duo's vocal blend is amazingly smooth. All in all the whole album is a gem.

Never heard of this band till I got the free download--must say I'm very pleased. Love the female vocals in it.

So Retro and So the Future5
Put a cupful of 1950s rock'n'roll, two tablespoons of 1960s girl group vibes and a sprinkle of new millennium noise pop into a sonic blender and you have the Raveonettes. Check out the free "Dead Sound" download and you'll get a good feel for "Lust Lust Lust," their third and best album. Then invest in the whole shebang or at least standout track "Aly, Walk With Me."
