Customer Reviews
Classic vocals
Just received this in the mail and was blown away by this purchase. Fantastic singer, great songs, great sound quality and great price. My only small peeve is the packaging. It leaves a little to be desire but don't hesitate to buy because of that! If you are a Mel Torme fan or enjoy the big band era, this set is for you!
Good introduction to Tormé's work
This collection is very good, and comes at a good price. This recordings are from 1945-1955, with a good sound quality. Packaging is fine, with booklet including session information for each track. It represents a good introduction to the early works of Mel Tormé, which is accompanied by trios, orchestras - Artie Shaw's beetween them -, and his vocal group, The Mel-Tones.
