Average customer review:
Written by an experienced Latin and ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, Nunc Loquamur is a wonderful resource for teachers who would like to introduce spoken Latin to their students. Nunc Loquamur consists of 12 guided conversations. Students first listen to a model dialogue, explore and write out variations, practice and perform the dialogues, and finally create and perform their own variations.

This resource can be used to supplement any Latin textbook. The dialogues are designed so that there is little opportunity to make mistakes. Each unit is self-contained. This really is a "pick it up and go" resource.

Customer Reviews

Actual Latin conversations. Great for a group class in Latin.5
Of course this should be used with a teacher in a class. The teacher can explain what needs to be explained and the students can practice the dialogue until they can repeat it without reading. This book will make Latin come alive again and is a lot more interesting than reading Caesar and his wars.

A useful way to learn conversational Latin4
This is a fun little book that can be used to introduce students to conversational latin. As a teacher I am always looking for ways to spice up my lessons and using this book with my students has done just that! The only problem is that it is very short and after youmake it through all the lessons you are left with a feeling of "Now what?". I recommend it for those who know Classical Latin and are looking for a way to both modernize and have fun with the language they love.
