Nice Watch
This watch is a pretty good watch, especially for the price I paid. It has nice features, such as Sapphire Crystal (something not found on most Seiko's in this range and upto $1500) and a MOP Dial (which looks nice). There are two small things that I do not like about this watch, first is the bracelet. It just feels a bit flimsy, although this is a small problem. The clasp could have been better as well, just a bit more solid (but this is woman's watch and I am used to tool watches for men and this isn't my watch anyway). The crown however is a bit hard to operate, hard to grip, and the feel of it rotating isn't positive. Although the first two faults can be attributed again to me being a male and this watch being a gift, but the operation could be smoother. In the end I am really picking very small parts here to criticize and overall this is a nice watch. I would recommend this watch for someone or as a gift.
My wife loves it
My wife will only wear gold or goldtone watches. I looked everywhere for a ladies watch that was water resistent to 100 meters, had a sapphire crystal, was in the reasonable price range and of course was goldtone. I took a gamble with this one since I could find no jewelers that had this in stock around me. I am glad that I did. This watch looks much better in person than in the picture. The mother of pearl dial sets the watch off. The only negative I have is that the watch watch is not that heavy but since I don't wear it and it IS a ladies watch that is probably a plus.
Seiko Coutura
I purchased this as a gift, and it was well received. The unit is attractive, and works well.
