Editorial Reviews
Amazon.com Review
One of Rösle's superb kitchen tools, this 7.8-inch tool has a 2.7-inch cutting wheel honed to a sharp edge so it neatly slices as it rolls through a pizza. Like all Rösle tools, utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, the opener is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The round handle has a satin finish to conceal fingerprints. It's sealed against water and has a hanging ring so the pizza cutter can be conveniently stored on a hook in Rösle's Open Kitchen system of basic rails and grid walls--or hung on any hook or peg. The pizza cutter is sturdy, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable in the hand. All Rösle products are made in Germany, dishwasher-safe, and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
Customer Reviews
Really solid, well made, a joy to use
This pizza cutter will be the last one you'll ever need if you treat it well. The design is deceptively simple - it's just a pizza cutter - right? Well, I've used mine for pastry, pasta, and other doughs. It screams through the thickess or thiness pizza crust - actually cutting the crust rather than just hacking at it like some less well made models. My only warning - keep your fingers out of the way!
A hassle to return
I bought this based on the editorial review that "All Rösle products are made in Germany", and I needed a good Germany-made cutter because the Germans are known for their cutting instruments. Now I have this shipped to me, and it is made in China.
Excellent
Okay so it's a little much to spend for a pizza cutter, but once you see the difference in the blade compared to other models, you'll be happy. Still extremely sharp and brushed steel finish looks in mint condition, after being thrown in a utensil drawer for several years. Highly recommended. You can't go wrong with Rosle.
