Collectors young and old will enjoy building this spacecraft, used by the Empire to defend the Death Star II in Star Wars: Episode VI—Return of the Jedi. This TIE Interceptor completes Lego’s TIE collection of models, which consists of a TIE Fighter (used in all the Star Wars movies, a TIE Bomber (also from Return of the Jedi, and Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter from the original Star Wars movie. Features of this ship include a hinged canopy on the cockpit and an instrument panel that folds down. The model comes with a TIE pilot minifig, who fits within the cockpit to fly the TIE Interceptor. A quick build, the TIE Interceptor takes about 30 minutes to construct with some help from the illustrated instructions. The manual also contains a full inventory of all pieces with part numbers in case a piece is lost and builders need to order a replacement. --Cristina Vaamonde

If your a fan of TIES, get this.
Well the TIE Interceptor is another of the 06 sets. The TIE Interceptor, if you didn't know, was in Episode 6 and came in great numbers. I was honestly surprised to see this as a set.
The TIE Interceptor comes in the same black and blue as most of Lego's TIE's do. I honestly love the color scheme. It makes the TIE's stand out from the other usual grey/ bley and white ships in my collection. This is, of course, a TIE. Meaning that it suffers from that all too common disease, known as "wobbly-wings". Yes the wings on the Interceptor are as flimsy as most of Lego's ships that have wings. But some modding should do the trick.
Included with this set is the almighty Imperial Pilot. He is of course dressed in a sleek jet black. The helmet is basically a stormie's helmet but with a few added stuff to it. Lego really likes to change the poor Imperial Pilots' heads though. The most recent TIE Fighter that came out had a pilot with a blank brown face. This pilot has a blank black face. Poor Stormie's and Pilots. Maybe someday Lego will give them faces.
Well there you have it. It's basically an average set. I would pick up one though. It's great for making Imperial armies stronger/bigger. I picked up two, but that's just me.
Tie Interceptor
My son thought it was fun to build with clear instructions. It is a more complex lego than the v-wing, or smaller ships.
The wings to want to break off if handled roughly, but played with carefully, it holds together fine. Dropped from two feet above the ground and it breaks into five pieces, but can be put back together with some effort.
Overall, it is a nice looking and fun to play with lego star wars set

This set is accurately detailed to the one from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi! This TIE Interceptor is very sturdy and strong. This set comes with a TIE pilot and the canopy can open. I think this is onr of the best sets that
LEGO has ever made. Also the wings are kinda wobbly but they don't come off, and thats good. And I wished the TIE pilot had a face. His face is just black
and it would have been better if he had one but that's still okay. I have dropped from four or five feet high and no pieces came off, and that is very good for someone like me who drops things really easily. Yep, LEGO has really done it again. Oh, and also I think LEGO should make more cool sets such as this one. Oh, so neat. Therefore buy this set, I highly recommend it. I give this set a big 5 stars!
