| After 15 years of studying, researching and buying toys for a nationally awarded play center as well as my own children, I have developed some "Criteria" about what I think makes a good toy. Here are they are: Toys should be played with for years not days. Natural Materials are better. Toys should be open-ended. Toys should help grow children's brains You don't always need plugs and batteries. Throughout November and December 2009, I thought you might want to see some of the fun toys that I have discovered. Some of them you may have seen before and some you may have not. I hightlighted a new toy each day on my blog, http://letkidsplay.blogspot.com, which you can now read in the archives. As I find new toys, I will continue to add them, so stop back often as I share with you my favorite toys. | ||
