This works best if you take big 5-10 gallon plastic tubs so that you can pre-heat the water before a shower. From my experience, one 10 gallon tub o' hot water will provide 5 male showers or 1 female shower. NOTE: Dry out the pump between trips. We stored it wet and found that it had rusted and failed. A replacement pump is available from ZODI.

This is as close as it gets to a product available on Amazon that represents what we use. I built my own system with parts from ebay, including a Solarex 80 watt PV panel and an ICP 7-amp charge controller.
We also use a Reware 6.5 watt PV backpack to charge Xantrex 100 watt pocket powerpacks (and contain all of the cables and gizmos) and a Brunton 2.2 watt PV panel to recharge batteries.
