Customer Reviews
Very nice true "pocket" knife
This is the best true "pocket" knife ever. Why? Because it's so slim that I carry it everywhere, usually in my front pants pocket, and you don't even know it's there.
The knife blade is really sharp and beefy...cut's through rope, rubber hose, cardboard packaging, etc. with ease. Anytime someone asks "anyone got a pocket knife?" they are amazed when I pull this thing out. It will handle some really tough cutting jobs.
The other features get a mixed review: The little plastic tweezers work pretty good for pulling out slivers and such.
The compass...stopped working after a year or so...not sure if it was ever accurate.
The toothpick...basically worthless, and mine fell out and got lost a long time ago.
The screwdriver/bottle opener thingy...flatblade only and not very easy to use (if you just need to loosen or tighten a screw it's fine...if you have a lot of twisting to do forget it). Never really used the bottle opener on a bottle, but it is pretty small so I doubt it would give you enough leverage for even a really tight bottle cap. But the pick thing on the end has a very sharp point that I have used for I can't remember what...but it is useful.
The magnifying glass works...but it's pretty small
If you buy this tool, buy it for the knife...it's well worth it! Don't let my comments on the little doo-dads turn you off. It is without a doubt the easiest to carry, most useful, and best true "pocket" knife I have used. In fact, I am going to buy myself a new one! My old one is more than 10 years old, and still in decent shape, but getting dull. The serrated edge is great, but hard to sharpen. I've used it so much I have got my moneys worth many times over, so I have no problem buying another one.
Almost...
This credit card companion is ok, but I much prefer the Victorionix. I bought this one because it was less expensive and I thought the knife feature looked more usable. It is more usable, but the unit does not have other features that I loved about my Victorionix (which someone admired so much that I gave it to them). Anyway, decent product as far as it goes, a little clunky to really fit in a wallet.
Handy Tool
After damaging my regular pocket knife, I purchased this so that I would always have a bottle opener, tweezers, and tooth pick handy. I didn't want a large bulky multi-purpose knife. This fits inside my wallet easily. Sometimes I'll leave my pocket knife at home, but never my wallet. Had to purchase a second one after forgetting it was in my wallet at the airport.
The magnifying glass on this thing is pretty much just a waste of space. It's too small to actually see through well. The raised numbers for the ruler are hard to see since they are black on black.
