Great Replacement Jacket!!!
My father has owned his 2 flight jackets for well over 25 years now. While they were still holding up, it was time for him to get a new one. I had bought several other flight jackets by the same company that made his original one. They were supposed to be the same exact ones; however, the sleeves had been synched, the pockets moved, the inside pocket was taken out, and they didn't even offer it in black any more. I could only find in sage green and navy blue (and his had to be black..it was the color his unit wore). I had basically given up hope of ever replacing his jacket. However, I then stumbled upon this jacket. While I couldn't really make much out in the picture, it looked exactly like his old one when I googled other pictures of it. I purchased it hoping it would be and IT WAS!!! The only difference I can tell is that it is a little longer (although this might just be a result of how old the original is) and it appears to be made of a slightly different cloth than the original. I am so glad I found this!!! If you are looking to replace an old flight jacket (and everytime you look in the army store it only has those synched ones) I would suggest this jacket!

Warm
Okay I got this Jacket on the advice of a friend, after it arrived i tried it on and wore it around, seemed a tad bulky and the material made those weird sliding sounds when i moved. After wearing it around bit i realised just how warm it really was, in 40 degree weather just walking around i was sweating which says something, the pockets are very nice and its a well made jacket, its reversable but lets be honest the orange alternative is petty ugly so stick with black, overall I have come to like the look of the jacket and fully recommend it to anyone who wants a good warm coat at such a reasonable price.
