Customer Reviews
This is a great toy a great value for money!
My daughter got this as a gift when she turned 2. She immediately loved it. She's almost 3 and she and her friends still love playing with it. It comes in a convenient little "suitcase" which also makes it a great travel toy.
Inside comes a mini potato (each character is roughly 3"), carrot and ear of corn. The accessories are a baseball cap, a green sprig (for the carrot, I guess) and a cowboy hat, 3 pairs of arms (one hand has a diamond ring, one holds a wad of money and the last holds a cell phone). 3 different faces (eyes, nose and mouth are all one piece) and lastly are 3 silly feet.
You get a lot for your $10 with this toy! I really don't think any child would be diappointed with it.
Not a Dud!
The Easter Bunny left this for our daughter when she was just a little over 2 years old. Our daughter has had so much fun making funny faces over the past few months. Now that she's 31 months old, she has a set way of how each Spud Bud should look (and she doesn't deviate). She has also learned the difference in how genders dress (i.e., puffy sleeves are for girls). Our daughter also enjoys putting all the parts back in the case -- fun clean up time for all!
Tons of fun for little ones!
My older daughter received this as a gift, and at first I didn't think much of it because she typically doesn't notice toys. She did like the little suitcase that the toys came in, however. That initially sparked her interest but soon she was playing with the toys inside as well. We taught her the names of some of the pieces and she learned how to put them together and take them apart. This toy really advanced her learning. She has autism so she has some issues with playing with toys properly and speaking, and this toy helped in both areas. Her (and thereby my) only issue with it is that the corn looks like it should be two pieces and it's only one. She used to get quite frustrated trying to get apart a toy that was only one piece. So overall I would say a great value and a suitcase full of fun!
