Editorial Reviews
From Booklist
Crafters will enjoy this collection of 15 different dolls (some are doll sets) utilizing soft fleece fabrics. Goble opens with a list of tools and materials and some very handy techniques. Although fleece dominates, the dolls also use all sorts of other materials, such as buttons and gauze. There’s a doll for all sorts—even a pattern appropriate for newborns—and some are simple enough to be used as a project with children. Particularly cute are Olga and Her Daughters, a stuffed doll made to look like Russian nesting dolls. Inexperienced sewers will find something they can do here, and seasoned crafters will keep plenty challenged by the more difficult tasks. A smart acquisition for all crafts collections. --Mary Frances Wilkens

Charming dolls, easy to make
My 8 and 12 year old daughters and I have made five dolls from this book. They are sweet, adorable dolls that are quite easy to make, even for beginners; my youngest daughter is just learning to sew.
Lots of doll making fun!
I loved this book. I have made soft dolls of many kinds and found the ideas and patterns here to be fun and easy. Someone mentioned that the patterns are in the book at 50% of the real size and they didn't like this. I found this to be a positive for me. Some of the patterns were too small even when enlarged to the correct size so I made some even larger. This proved to be even more fun! Currently I make dolls for a charity that helps children so this book will help me to make many well-loved dolls.
I love it!
I make alot of dolls and am always on the lookout for new style dolls. This book is fantastic for easy, cute, soft dolls. I highly recommend.
