A work of art. good actors, great sceans. its almost perfect. barring a few sceans this is a good movie. it stays close to the basic story of the book. a good movie from a great book.

another great movie. i like that saurmon is used as an instroment of 'industry' (reminisant of the book). the battle at helms deep was wonderful. again its not perfect but good. it expands the epic.

The final movie. from the death of degal to the destruction of the ring this is a very intense movie. very good and worth watching.

the very first screen adaption of the tale. the animation is pretty fair. huston makes a good gandalf, with a strong voice. it tells the basic story of the hobbit book. a classic in its own way.

the sequil to the animated hobbit. we get to hear more of huston. baring the songs its a fair movie. i like the sceans with the nazgul lord. leaves out a lot of the book but tells the basic story.

a good radio version of the lord of the rings. ian holm as frodo. michael hordern as gandalf. keeps the esentals of the books. does cut out some parts but contains the epic scale of the books.

the very first book in the series. written more for younger readers but it has a story that can be read by any one. we see our first glimse of bilbo, gandalf, gollum, and of the ring. a must have.

the great book itself. this editon collects 'fellowship of the ring', 'two towers', and 'return of the king'. it includes the art of alan lee. there are so many good things about this great book.
