stopped working for no reason
If this still worked it would deserve a 5, but 1 year and 4 months after its purchase its dead. Looking at all the other reviews I am now certain that this product will only cause you grief. SAVE YOURSELF THE PROBLEMS DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

Not dependable
Great drive UNTIL it died. I used it for work purposes, transporting files, etc. Then, after about 6 months of use, it died. Basically, my computer didn't recognize it when I would plug it in to a USB port.

Super Drive
I've had this model drive for over 2 years and I have never had a single problem with it. I take it everywhere with me and I'm not always gentle, but this drive has outdone every expectation I had of it. I know it may not be as fast as over drives, but at the time it was the biggest drive I could get for school and as I said it has taken a beating and still performed flawlessly for me. It's good points outweigh the slow speed.
