Good overall
This product goes on smoothly and has a very natural finish. The only thing I dont like is it dries out leaving a film on the ball that you have to wipe off before applying. But its a good buy overall.

Great product!
I'm glad I bought and tried this product before reading the reviews of it as a lip product.
I haven't had any problems with it settling into lip creases, or a drying effect. I don't
know if it's because I don't suffer from dry skin, my lips tend to be pretty smooth, or if
I've just been lucky.

I really like this product because it has a long lasting staining effect - whether
it's on my lips or my cheeks. It's a very natural look and doesn't feel like there's
anything on my lips. The colors to choose from are pretty and remain true throughout
the day.

I do agree with another reviewer that, if you're going to use this as a cheek tint or blush,
you might want to blend it in pretty quickly, and it's preferable to blend it in with moisturizer,
or right after moisturizing. It's not that the product dries quickly necessarily, but when being
used as a cheek tint, it dries out a little more quickly because it's being rubbed in. Without
moisturizer it might not blend well, or might streak. There's a lot of pigment when used straight
from the bottle - which is a good thing because you don't have to use much, but it also means you
have to apply quickly and with an extender (the moisturizer) in order to avoid too much product.
When moisturizer is added it blends well and isn't as likely to streak. Also, I've found that
adding moisturizer gives you a little more time to wash the product off your fingers - so
they're not as likely to have tint left on them, although even with moisturizer, you might still
have some product left on your fingers.

Overall this is one of the best lip stains I've tried. Unlike stains that use a "magic marker" type
application tip - which often loses the ability to apply product because it dries out quickly (in
a matter of weeks). My Lorac Sheer Wash has lasted many months - and still has plenty of product
left in the bottle. The one thing that happens, although infrequently, is that too much product
comes out at once, leaving it pooling on my lips. I've found, if I start by applying the sheer wash
on the inside of my lower lip, I can control the product very well if it pools, by dabbing my lips
together, spreading the product over both lips. I think whatever problems one might have with this
product can easily be overcome - it's just a matter of finding what works for you. I haven't found
any other stain which lasts as long, or works as well as this one.

Best as a blush
I purchased the color Sheer Luck...a rosy pink.
I first bought this intending it to use it just on my lips...I'm a minimalist and liked the idea of a natural looking, long lasting color on my lips. I had never toyed with blush before.

As a lip stain, it did not work at all...it didn't go on evenly, and it settled into the lines and contours of my lips.

However, I tried it as a blush, and the rosy color suits my fair neutral (I have both yellow and pink in my skin) complexion beautifully! It looks just like my natural flush. It looks completely natural on my skin and lasts all day. I never knew how much blush can do to enhance my overall appearance. This product is an absolute staple in my routine now. I look like a fair, rosy Victorian woman with this blush on. It works well over mineral makeup and I haven't had issues with breakouts (which is great because I am prone to them).

Do a couple practice runs before wearing this out. It dries pretty fast and a little goes a long way.
The packaging leaks a little bit (just inside the lid and in the area below the roller ball...I've never had problems with it spilling), but I'm more than willing to deal with that.
