About the Author
The auther has had motorhomes for over 30 years. When he came close to retirement he went to work for GrayLine of Seattle. As he went through trainning he relized how much he knew, how much he thought he knew, and how much he didn't know about driving a large vehicle. After 2 years he was asked to become a driving instructer for the company. Relizing that he was one of millions of baby boomer who are in the same place, he decided to take the knolage he had gained and write a book that could help people become safer, more confident drivers.

Needs work
I realize that it is difficult to describe driving techniques, but this book really misses the mark. Most of the suggestions are common sense. Coverage of important techniques such as aligning, positioning for turns, and reversing is either missing or vague and ambiguous.
great book
I really enjoyed this book albeit it is a small one. There is no "fluff" and all the information is direct. I have been driving for over 34 years and this book still opened my eyes wide and made me understand better the ins and outs of driving a large vehicle. It is a great reference book to keep in the vehicle. A little pricey but I am not disappointed.
Quick and Easy for Beginners
We just purchased our first motor home after pulling trailers for years. This book promised to serve as a guide to the techniques needed to drive our new `monster' rather than tow one. To a great degree, it fulfilled its promise.
It is a quick, easy read. Friendly to beginners, the basics are covered in a crisp, clear and friendly manner. It is "quick" because it is only about 50 pages. I could not help but think that it would have made a few excellent articles in motor home magazines but this is more convenient
The price, including shipping, is probably fair when you consider the limited market available.
