Perfect Shape and Size For Scones or Nutty Muffins
I love to find bargains -- and these Wilton Silicone Triangle Baking Cups are a perfect choice for those who like to create beautiful scones without having to pay $35.00 for cast iron or silicone scone pans. They are also better for scones because you can make 1, 2, or 12, depending on how many you need, without messing up a whole pan that then has to be seasoned again.

I dislike the shape and size of "normal" scones, because they're either too big or too small. This shape also has a nicer "mouth feel" than scones produced by normal scone pans -- no sharp edges.

I also like them for fancy muffins topped with nuts, like pecans or walnuts, because the area on top of a muffin made with these cups can hold a lot of pecans or other nuts gracefully.

Excellent Baking Cups
I bake all the time for my children's school. I do not like to send the cupcakes in the paper cups because it makes more mess and work for the teachers. For some recipes find that the cupcakes will not come out of the round cups without tearing. These cups are fantastic! Even my most difficult cake mixes came right out. A good buy.

great for steamed asian desserts
I used these to make steamed rice flour based desserts. It works great! dessert came right off, very easy to clean. I did spray with butter spray prior to steaming the dessert, it was really pretty when it was time to serve and cooked evenly. I do alot of asian desserts by steaming and this is easier and better to use than your typical aluminum molds-it doesn't stick and cool to touch when you want to take it out and serve immediately.
