Balanced and thoughtful overview of today's lifestyle choices
The author has been in the natural health movement for decades and has a welcome long view on the changes that are accelating around us and impacting not just our individual health but also the health of our planet and future generations. Though much in the book has been said before, Bill Tara has brought together a number of threads into a lucid and valuable tapestry of how our individual daily choices contribute either to our well-being or to our detriment. His insights into how our frame of mind, our attitudes, and our ways of processing information today have direct impact on our actions and the physical consequences that are produced in the aggregate in our home, our community, and the world add an important dimension to the dialogue around saving our health care system and the planet. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is new to the wellness revolution and wants a strong foundation on which to build their particular perceptions of the choices they face and also to anyone who has bounced around within all the disparate information now bandied about regarding fitness, preventive health and so on and wants a guide through it all that rings true on every page.
