Midwest Book Review
Rebels & Devils brings together some of the most talented, controversial and rebellious people of all time. Some (William S. Burroughs, Timothy Leary, Robert Anton Wilson, Aleister Crowley) are world famous. Others (James Wasserman, S. Jason Black, David Lee) are well-accomplished in their own fields, but are not known in the wider world. Every contributor, every article, in every aspect of their lives has had but one focus -- to bring freedom to their world. In all of human history the essence of the independent mind has been the need to think and act according to standards from within, not without. To follow one's own path, not that of the crowd. Inevitably it follows that anyone with an independent mind must become "one who resists or opposes an authority or established convention" -- a rebel. Usually rebellion is done so quietly that no one notices. But when others (especially others with power) recognize the disobedience, the rebel becomes the rebel. And if enough people come to agree with (and follow) the rebel, we have a devil. Until, of course, still more people agree. And then, finally, we have greatness. Until the new unorthodoxy becomes the established norm, and the cycle of rebellion starts up all over again. Rebels & Devils is a fascinating, engaging, articulate, informative, and thought-provoking work of considerable scholarship.

Neo should have feel this way after the red pill
Talking about a big change in your live; ever feel like somthing important has been written for you.
Fear not beloved reader, you would realize that you're not special and I never felt better in my life after realizing that I'm not longer an individual but a part of an ever growing process of joy an destruction that are nedded in order to change and grow one on one with the world.
Dr. Hyatt has asambled an amazing rage of important an radical thinkers of our time, with the devoted and necesary section of Aleister Crowley, the real magician in a real world.
After this I realized that magic really works, and the best of all it is that works in the real world, if not ask Phil Hine or Peter Carroll.
I realized that everithing depends on my behavior learned or spontaneous, if you don't beleive me either ask Genesis P orridge.
This book is amazing, the best part is that you realize that "every man and woman are stars".
nice selection of miscellany
nice selection and collection of past, present and future rebels. contributions by burroughs, leary, crowley, parsons, rajneesh and p-orridge are some of the many authors in this book. there is everything thing from relaxation techniques, magickal techniques, poetry, short fiction, philosophy and psychological meanderings. my favorite section of the book dealt with the world of chaos. great articles by phil hine, robert f. williams jr., peter carroll to name a few, break down and describe the meaning and nature of chaos magick. this book is recommended to anyone who is interested in the alternate, magickal realities and thought. one of the better new falcon press releases.
No, NO, NO!
Menstrual bleeding, personal stories of abandonment and enlightenment, blah blah blah, a bunch of rubbish from aging people who were abused and now are better. Join a women's liberation group or a "moon cycle" clan for free, but don't buy this uninformative and uncreative rubbish that has nothing to do with psychology or liberation.
