Average customer review:Product Description
A new translation of Franz Bardon's second volume of The Holy Mysteries. In magical terms, the book is a practical guide to the proper evocation of and communication with spiritual, magical and divine entities. It is perhaps the only truly significant modern study of direct contact with the universal teachers -- the other major works in the field are products of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Reformation periods. But beyond that, there is a fascinating glimpse into a complete magical universe. Bardon outlines a totally new and original hierarchy of magic, from the spirits of the four elements to those of the various planets, and even to each degree of the zodiac. Included with the names and descriptions of the various entities are a collection of previously unknown magical sigils, as well as a true account of ancient astrology.

From the Publisher
When you start the practice of this second volume in Bardon's series on Hermetics, you will already work with the fruits of the first volume. And you will reap the harvest of your initial magical labor. The knowledge you gain will be invaluable for your further development.
About the Author
With the permission of Divine Providence, the spirit of a high Hermetic adept entered the body of a fourteen-year-old boy named Franz Bardon (1924-1958), destined to become one of the most remarkable magicians of the 20th century. Bardon wrote an entire series of books on Hermetics, starting with Initiation into Hermetics, The Practice of Magical Evocation and The Key to the True Kabbalah.

THE ONLY REAL MAGICK BOOK
The trilogy of books by the Master Franz Bardon are unparalleled in the world of magick. What Crowley could not do, Master Bardon does. Instead of bragging about himself like Crowley, Master Bardon gets directly to the matter of making Hermetic science accessible to ALL. The first book explained the basic techniques and theory of magick. This second volume described the Solar Hierarchy of Intelligences and beings that are part of our universe. With the same care and delicacy, Master Bardon explains in theory then goes direct into practice. There are no blinds, tricks, or games like Crowley, but direct and to the point information. Master Bardon takes the student step by step just as in his first book, in order to have a successful evocation. The book is rich in information and theory even if you decide not to pursue the path of magick, the knowledge contained in this volume makes it priceless. For those students who want to actually practice Magick, get all of Bardon's books, you will not regret it.
Complete Compendium of Spherical Magic
For years I have searched for spiritual enlightenment and have spent thousands of hours and thousands of dollars and have received nothing in return but confusion. But my search ended joyfully as I discovered the Bardon books on Hermetics. Nothing but nothing comes close to the wealth of information contained on only one page. The information is clear, understandable and totally logical. It might interest some of you out there in computerland that there is now a new Bardon book, "Franz Bardon: Questions & Answers" which really clears up a lot of unanswered questions -- it's terrific! Luckily, I also came across other books which compliment the Bardon books; one is "Seven Hermetic Letters" by Dr. Georg Lomer, the other "Alchemy Unveiled" by Helmond. I also came across books by the mystic Jakob Lorber, which also far exeeded my expectation. These books, in my opinion, compliment the Bardon books totally.
Bardon
Bardon's books are the best there are. You can learn a lot from other sources, but Bardon's methods are incomparable. His Initiation Into Hermetics is absolutely necessary to work through before going into his Practice of Magical Evocation.
