Amazon.com Product Description
Pinzon's mandoline produces uniform, precise cuts of vegetable and fruit. Constructed of attractive and durable 18/8 stainless steel, this tool offers a variety of cuts with four versatile blade attachments. The smooth blade creates straight slices of cucumber, while a waved blade makes attractive crinkle fries. The rough and fine blades grate carrots and lettuce for taco salad or potatoes for hash browns. To change the blade, simply slide it into the side opening. Turn one knob to produce different thickness of cut, and a second knob to expose the teeth of the blade. Adjust the plane to your favorite height and lock the cap in place before starting to cut. Safety features include a holding guard that locks and silicone covers on the legs to prevent slipping, and a safety bracket on the bottom to protect fingers. A plastic storage case that holds all four blades is included. Pinzon's mandoline should be washed by hand, measures 18-1/2 inches long by 6-1/2 inches wide, and is imported.

Junk1
VERY hard to cut anything--VERY VERY DULL blades, didn't cut straight, very large/bulky....sent back to amazon for refund.

How Much?1
I bought this item for my wife for Christmas. I couldn't wait to give it to her. So the day it arrived I made her open it. The thing is huge!! Lucky for us we wanted salad so we read the instructions, and started to slice and dice. We hit the major salad stuff tomatos, celery, and cucumbers. The tomatoes were jucied kinda expected that. It worked good on the celery, and on the cucumbers it was very hard to slice. Some where during out first outting the main blade bent. I would expect that if we were chopping rocks, but rocks don't go good in salad. So save some money don't buy this one. This was our first mandoline, I think we'll stick the those wonderful Furi knives.

Pinzon Mandoline is Junk1
Looks like it would be one of the best slicers on the market.
However, the product is junk. I tried several fruits & vegetables & the results were so frustrating--I stopped-and went back to my
15 year old Bronor 19.95 V-Slicer. I am returning the 2 mandolins. One was for my mother. She would not say anything to me because it was a gift. She would just put in her junk pile in the basement. Save your money-
-or go ahead & you will get the same results and frustrations like me.
