Silky and Sensational
Melinda Doolittle outclassed and outsang everyone on American Idol last year. Heck, with the exception of Clay Aiken, she's outsung EVERY Idol contestant ever. This song was performed by her at the semi-finals and firmly established her as THE stylist/singer of the competition.

I can't wait for her CD...she's simply sensational! Great job as always Mindy!

A Singer for the Ages!
Just an incredible singer! I have seen and heard many famous singers over the years, but there is truly something special about Melinda Doolittle! She pumps every bit of emotion and pathos that she can into every song that she sings and gives each a refreshing new sound. She knows her strengths and does not give into the "music machine" - the "cookie cutter" mentality of what supposedly sells in today's music industry. So many good singers are forced into recording what others think is commercial and what will sell. It takes a singer with the talent and self belief of a Melinda Doolittle to produce the quality material that she knows suits her and her voice well and is brave and determined enough to follow her OWN inner voice. She is a consummate performer who has been waiting a long time for her success and she is doing it her way! We are all the richer for that! She is one of the greats....

Melinda at her best!!!!
Melinda's version of MFV is simply the most amazing one ever; she now owns this song and no one should ever attempt to touch it again. Melinda made me first like this song when she performed it on AI(I didn't care for it before)now I absolutely LOVE it; I can't seem to stop listening to it.
This masterclass lady has given us a worldclass masterpiece. It's a must have.
