Not exactly complete backroads3
This is about the only good atlas I could find of Canada, but it left me wanting more than what I got. In particular, Ontario back-roads are not covered very well, and that is exactly what I needed. I am talking the dirt roads off the main paved roads. There are some on the maps, but I know there are lots more that aren't. The details of all the metro areas is very good, and names of parks and lakes is very good. There are about 700 coated pages, 8.5x11, so it is 1.25 inches think and rather heavy to lug around. Still, this is a very good atlas to get you around Canada. The maps are pretty well sectioned and easy to navigate through. I am going to use GPS with topo maps to get me around where these maps don't cover. To bad Delorme doesn't make Canada maps, they have me spoiled.

one map for your travels5
After travelling throughout New Zealand using a wonderfully detailed map, I longed for one like this to cover Canada. New Zealand is so much smaller than Canada, I suspected such a thing was impossible. Well, MapArt fulfilled everything I could imagine in a comprehensive map of Canada. We just travelled back roads in Saskatchewan and Alberta that would be impossible to locate on an ordinary map. Township and Range Roads were all well detailed. We navigated our way seamlessly throughout our trip.

Thank you MapArt.

I had mine drilled and coil bound as I suspect a few of the pages might come out with long term use.
