| These mutes are the ones I see more than any other brand out there. Start with the straight, then get the cup and bubble mutes. The Trumcor Lyric mute is great for soft playing. The Mutec mutes (MHT) are a newer design. Steven Jones of Western Michigan University had something to do with it and introduced me to these mutes. They extend further into the bell than other mutes and apparently this results in better intonation. I LOVE these mutes!! | ||
