![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 80: Rapid Fire
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $4.18 The start of 2008. This wasn't the most "star filled" card, but every fight created excitement. A lot of quick brutal finishes. The best thing here is the gory Lightweight title fight.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 81: Breaking Point
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $6.79 Brock Lesnar, former WWE superstar, had all the hype coming into this fight. And I must admit, it was exciting, but the true big fight here is former Pride champ vs. former UFC champ here for the interim belt and it delivered. Lots of other good undercard fights.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 82: Pride of a Champion
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $4.40 I was really excited for this Pride champion vs. UFC champion bout. It is a solid fight, but I think the fight would go down more exciting the 2nd time around. The undercard isn't amazing, but not bad by any means either.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 83: Serra vs St-Pierre
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $8.00 This event had some exciting fights and great title fight main event, but it was hard to care in my opinion. The match making just seemed kind of pointless besides the Welterweight title fight.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 84: III Will
Buy used from: $9.49 One of the most stacked UFC cards ever. Main event for the Lightweight title and #1 spot in the world as well as huge fights with Wanderlei Silva, Keith Jardine, Tito Ortiz, Lyoto Machida, Sokoudjuo, Thiago Silva, and more.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 85
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $6.82 This event took a beating due to injury, but despite a not so solid main event there were some great fights. Some questionable stoppages as well, but overall I believe this event is worth your time.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 86: Rampage Jackson vs Forrest Griffin
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $6.65 Not that great of an undercard but an amazing main event. A really exciting and competitive title fight in the most stacked weight division.

![]() | Ufc 87: Seek & Destroy
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $8.88 A solid all around event. Nothing here was outstanding, but there wasn't a bad fight either. Personal favorite is a grappling war between Damien Maia and Jason MacDonald.

![]() | UFC 88: Breakthrough
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $6.15 Undercard could be described as "meh" IMO. The main event has a shocking finish though.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 89: Bisping vs Leben
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $10.45 Good event for free TV, don't know if its worth the buy though. I haven't been able to bring myself to finishing all the preliminary card. From what I've seen I'd call this event decent at best.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 90: Silva vs Cote
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $5.83 Sherk vs. Griffin and Alves vs. Koscheck both well worth the time. The main event should have been awesome but it was a failure to say the least.

![]() | UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $7.32 I was one of the haters of this main event, and I still don't think Lesnar deserved any sort of shot, but the fight isn't horrible by any means. The rest of the card really delivered, especially the lightweights. We get submissions, KOs, and one decision - which may have been the best fight overall anyways.

![]() | UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $7.97 The UFC really delivered here. There were some shocking results, but at least we got 3 fights worthy of a main event and some other good fights as well. One of the best events the UFC put on in 2008.

![]() | UFC 93: Franklin vs. Henderson
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $8.76 I really wanted to like this event. I love Shogun and Henderson. And I was excited to see Lytle vs. Davis and Denis Kang's debut. It wasn't really a hyped event because so much else was going on in January. I was still entertained though and prefer this card over others.

![]() | UFC 94: St. Pierre vs. Penn 2
One of the biggest fights in UFC history, and just meh in my opinion. None of the fights were that good. Guida vs. Diaz has its moments the rest were somewhat boring or really one sided. Machida is probably the best thing that happened during this event. There was no way the main event could live up to the hype of what was put on it, but it wasn't even a fight.

![]() | UFC 95: Sanchez vs. Stevenson
Not so good on paper, but a great night of fights. The best card the UFC put together at this point in the year. Marquardt vs. Gouveia made me smile.

![]() | UFC 96: Jackson vs. Jardine
I always love to watch Rampage fight, but this event just wasn't much. Not bad by any means though. Jackson vs. Jardine is worth the viewing and some other good performances by Gray Maynard and Matt Hammill.

![]() | UFC Presents: The Ultimate Fighter, Season 1- Uncut, Untamed and Uncensored!
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $10.50 The ground breaking first season that brought in some of the UFC's biggest stars. The reality show brought in new fans, but the finale battle between Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar is the reason the UFC stuck around today. Some minor problems with the show format, but ultimately, the best season.

![]() | UFC Presents: The Ultimate Fighter, Season 2- Uncut, Untamed and Uncensored!
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $11.80 Not as dramatic as the first season, but probably the second best as far as bringing in top talent prospects. The finale wasn't as exciting but you still see a lot of these guys around in good fights today.

![]() | The Ultimate Fighter: Season 3 - The Ultimate Grudge
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $11.00 A so so season as far as fighters go. Some raw talent, but the real reason anyone cared about this season was the beef between the coaches. The most surprising thing was that Tito was actually a good coach. Decent finale show as well.

![]() | Ultimate Fighting Championship Presents Ultimate Fighter: Season 4
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $10.80 A great concept, but some of the fights didn't play out too exciting. The finale was great though and it was good that the veterans got some TV time. The biggest standout star from this season was easily Matt Serra.

![]() | UFC - Ultimate Fighter Season 5
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $11.66 A return to solid form with this season. A lot of top talent, a great rivalry between the coaches, and some good in house drama. Probably the last season that TUF was extremely important to the UFC.

![]() | UFC: Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $14.25 Another so so season. A lot of inexperienced fighters, and the winner was just leaps and bounds above everyone else. What saved this season was the amazing finale show. War Machine vs. J-Roc in a bloody battle and Guida vs. Huerta in an epic lightweight showdown.

![]() | UFC: The Ultimate Fighter Season 7
Buy new: $35.99 / Used from: $17.50 The worst season with the worst amount of talent. Rampage is funny, thats about it. All this season really mattered for was promoting the huge Rampage vs. Forrest fight. Amir is a decent up and comer, but just seems to green to be in the UFC.

|
![]() | UFC: The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 - Team Mir vs. Team Nogueira
Buy new: $35.99 / Used from: $22.13 A step up from Season 7, but nothing spectacular. The infamous Junie Browning stole the show, but there were other fighters with a much better skillset. Some entertaining fights, some horrible fights, some decent upcoming talent, some awful fighters. Better coaching than the season before as well.
