the Avent "II" is the one I actually have. I love this thing - saves me from boiling water or running the dishwasher. Helpful if you are breastfeeding and needing to sterilize between each feeding. You can sterilize lots of things in the container, not just Avent items.

This stroller is a must if you have twins. Folds compactly and has a large basket. It is fairly lightweight - especially for a twin stroller. Call BabyTrend to see what carseats will work - their customer service is helpful

Feels great - looks good - fits most changing pads. We lay waterproof multi-use pads on top of this to help save it...so I guess the plush part isn't that important ;) but if you plan on laying your baby directly on the cover...it feels very soft.

Lightweight swing - easy to move around and does not take up much room. Has music and dangling toys - my babies enjoy the music.

Pacifier holders are helpful for when your kid spits it out of their mouth and you hope it doesn't hit the floor or just lost. There is a MAM pacifier holder that also has a little clip for the piece that goes in the mouth to help keep it clean - I'm not sure if this linked item has that or not.

You will need at least one changing pad. The contour helps keep your baby from rolling off until they are bigger and more mobile. I don't have this brand specifically, but they are all very similar.

Think about the season your baby will be wearing it - the fleece is toasty - so only get that for cold winters. I have the cotton version and this should work year round in Texas. Less expensive alternative to the Halo sack/blanket. You can secure their arms or leave them out.

This pillow can help in many ways. Some use it for feeding, propping the baby up, tummy time and probably more. You need at least one of these for a baby. Getting an additional cover is helpful but not required.

A brush is helpful - especially if you are feeding powdered formula - the residue really sticks to the sides of the bottles. The suction helps you wash with just one hand. Warning, as you pull the bottle off, it sprays.

ok - so this is not "gear" - but this stuff is awesome to handwash your baby stuff with or pre-wash for the detergent. I love this stuff for cleaning bottle nipples and breastpump stuff in particular.

This book is great for babies who are in that chewing stage. My babies fight over this book and we haven't even put pics in there yet. ;)

These formula dispensers come in different sizes. The formula comes out faster than the First Years One Shot bags - but the container can take up more room than the bags.

My girls loved watching and listening to this video even when they were tiny. It was soothing to them. As toddlers, they request these videos! We have vol 1 & 2.
