About the Author

Chris Lefteri graduated with an MA in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art, London, in 1992, and has since been running his own industrial design company. He is a senior lecturer at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design and the author of all titles in the acclaimed Materials series.

Absolutely worth the money5
We bought this book and like a lot of books you buy from Amazon, it can be a case of "hope it wasn't a waste of time" - this books was not - it's awesome, an absolute win. It's so much better than I thought it would be that it makes up for the "misses" we had with other books in the same shipment. It's a great snap shot of materials, their uses, examples and even rough costs of materials. If you're a designer and are wondering what material to use, get this book, it's a great step in the right direction.
