Customer Reviews

Perfect polish/glaze for depth and mirror shine!5
I've used many polishes/glazes over the years on all kinds of cars and I can honestly say this is the best polish/glaze I've found on the market. I've used products like P21S, Klasse, and even Sonus and the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Professional Show Car Glaze #7 is the best I've found.

If you apply this correctly (in multiple coats if your car has old paint) then it provides a deep, deep gloss before you apply a wax and/or sealant.

The ONLY negative thing I have to say about this polish/glaze is that it smells like chemicals mixed with bird droppings. I really wish Meguiar's made this stuff smell better. That said, if the bad smell is what I have to live with to get this kind of depth/mirror shine then so be it.

Bottom line, if you're looking for a polish/glaze to add depth to your shine before you apply wax, this is what you need to buy.

Outshines the rest5
I have to admit I was a little put off when I first tested Show Car Glaze on my victim car (my brother's truck): The paint had been maintained only sparingly, and while Show Car Glaze did bring out a nice wet shine, it wasn't the knock-your-socks-off result I'd been expecting. As I experimented with additional applications, though, his paint popped into action before my eyes. My test panel outshined the others to begin with, but after two applications it was brilliant, and after three it was amazing.

On my own, better maintained vehicle, the results were much more immediate and easy to achieve. Slap on some glaze, buff it off, and whammo--that glassy, slick, wet, mirror shine people shoot for. Throw a wax or sealant on top (I'm partial to Meguiar's NXT synthetic sealant) and the results are well worth the minimal investment in time and money.

I didn't find the smell to be off-putting, but the color of the polish is extremely reminiscent of what you find in an infant's diaper.

If you've maintained your car's paint, Show Car Glaze will easily give you a shine like no other. If your paint's a little rough, give it some TLC and Show Car Glaze can do the same for you. Or to crib from Barry Meguiar of Meguiar's, "Frequent car care is easy car care."

I agree with Jerry4
I agree with Jerry that the Meguiar's glaze #7 is a very good product. I too have used several different paint cleaning, polishing, glazing and waxing products. I find the Glaze creates a deep reflection in my black paint. The product is not an easy on / off product, so plan some time and have lots of rags for removing the glaze. But the results are worth the time and effort.

Be sure to follow-up with a Meguiar's Gold Wax application and later use the express mist on detail / quick wax prodcut for a continued "wet" shine.

Generally, I like the Meguair's prodcuts - wax's, brushes, towles, liquid car wash and polishes... and the pricing is great.
