Bond on Blu-ray! The Connery films especially never looked better. Hard to pick one Bond, but Thunderball goes well with films on this list. Dr. No and From Russia With Love are my two favorites here in terms of story, style, and pacing. Watch for additional Bond Blu-ray titles in March '09!

At Last! This essential show is available on DVD. Great team work, silent tension and smart solutions. Not your usual fare of blazing guns in this one. Mentioned by the International Spy Museum as one of the more "accurate" Spy shows/films. Get it & enjoy! Look for Seasons #1-5 on DVD.

Super hearing and strength makes this play like a cool British 60's version of the Bionic Man/Woman. Picks up at episode 3 "Reply Box No. 666." Look out for a Tom Cruise film in the works...stick with the team concept, guys :)

Move over Austin Powers! This show is wild :) Look also for other ITC Spy shows: Department S, The Baron, Man in a Suitcase, and The Persuaders (soon to be a feature film).

Between The Saint and the Bond films, Roger Moore had made the spy film Crossplot (check it out) and this 2-season show with Tony Curtis called The Persuaders. Some 2-part episodes have been released as a film collection. The show is very tongue-in-cheek, but a fave among many Moore fans. Moore has released his auto-biography, My Word is My Bond. A Persuaders movie is in the works.

This show really needs a DVD release to complete our digital archive of 60s Spy TV. A fantastic series with Robert Wagner. So far, only this vhs is available on the used market.

Stylish cult film by Bava is one of the best adaptations ever made from a comic. Great (and wild!) music by Morricone. Sometimes goes oop, so keep your eye out for this gem.

Suffers a bit from too many cooks in the kitchen syndrome, but has some fantastic segments!

The pilot episode has a cool Spy slant (w/ great photography and music!) before the show moves fully into cop stories.

A step below the Flint films, but remains a spy cult classic. Look for other B-list classic: Modesty Blaise (and better yet, the Modesty Blaise comics). Fans may want to continue the trend toward the Sci Spy fun romp Barbarella with Jane Fonda. Or for more Lady Spy action, look for the available Honey West Box set and for gray market editions of The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.
