Mentor Touched My Heart
Mentor, the Kid and the CEO touched me. I read constantly, but it has been a long time since a book moved me like this one. The story is about how a young man with no direction in his life changes due in part to the influence of a mentor.
The book is a fast read, but not simplistic. The storytelling by Walter Jenkins is excellent. I had to find out what happened next!
Mentor has some excellent take-away features, such as a reading list and a to-do list of sorts for changing your life. There are more free mentoring helps on the website associated with the book.
I believe that corporations and churches should buy quantities of these and set up mentoring programs.
Mentor is a novel of overcoming challenges
PaceButler Corporation CEO Tom Pace, with assistance from speaker and former attorney Walter Jenkins, present Mentor: The Kid & The CEO, an uncomplicated story about a most unlikely friendship. The kid has had one too many run-ins with the law and is facing sentencing as a felon; but the CEO sees potential. A three-year friendship helps to turn the kid around, despite setbacks for both the student and the teacher. Mentor is a novel of overcoming challenges, and the strength of a bond formed through shared difficulties in the journey toward a successful life. Highly recommended.
Action makes the world go round
Great work Tom. Easy read with a good message. Action defines success as you say in your book. Direction defines significance. I would recommend it for anybody looking to leave a legacy behind when you are gone.
