About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew, and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few.

Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.

Tag F1 Chronograph 5
This is my first Tag and i am very pleased. Its a very nice looking watch. Its not to heavy, its just right. I have had the watch for one month now and have had no problems. I went into the beach with it,the pool and the shower and its working great. Its great for an everyday watch. Great price!!!!

Great Value5
As always a great experience buying from Amazon. Definately a great price on this watch. I had just looked at this watch at a large retail store and Amazon's price beat their 10% discounted price by about $425.00. The watch came as presented, new, in the box, with all paperwork. Very nice
purchase experience. My only concern is the fact that the watch was shipped with no signature required, since it falls below Amazon's dollar amount of $700. Not a good policy on a valuable item such as this.

a nice solid watch5
I've had this watch for a few weeks now and it appears to be a solidly built watch with a feel of accuracy and attention to details. I really like the the way it looks - bold but understated.

One improvement that I'd make is to make the hands more visible. Under certain conditions, usually interior lighting, they really blend in with the face forcing you to twist your wrist around until the right angle reveals the location of the hands. While you'll do better with a black face in this department, the silver face and black bezel, in my opinion, is still sharper in appearance.

As for authenticity, I compared the watch and its packaging (box, protective stickers) to that of the department store's and I feel confident about its origin. However, while I found all of the stickers to be intact, I noticed a few small hairs stuck on the inside of the band which indicated to me that the watch didn't come straight from Tag untouched. I decided to live with this as had I bought this from a department store, they'd likely have sold me a piece from the case tried on by numerous customers anyway.
