About Us
For more than 55 years, Mental Health America of Licking County has been supporting persons experiencing mental illness and their families, fighting stigma and educating the general public about this diseases of the brain and how to protect against them.
Mental Health America of Licking County is in classrooms throughout the county with a variety of age-appropriate programs responding to violence, child abuse and suicide prevention.
We are in offices and break rooms to educate labor and management about responding to work stress, substance abuse and sexual harrassment.
Mental Health America of Licking County is meeting with parents to help them manage the many challenges that can occur when starting and raising a family. We help parents to help their kids be successful and we help parents to better manage their resources and stop living paycheck to paycheck.
We are meeting with politicians at the city, county, state and national levels to fight for the rights of the mentally ill and their families.
And we are working with veterans and their families to help respond to the challenges of returning to civilian life.
The mission of Mental Health America of Licking County is to promote good mental health, wellness, and achieve victory over mental illness.
