In my opinion, you can never really go wrong with Tim Burton. This film fits perfectly into the Halloween season. The atmosphere of this movie is superb throughout. It truly captures the creepiness of the Headless Horseman and is one of the best re-tellings of the classic tale that I've ever seen.

I still can't believe jim Varney died so young. I grew up watching his first few movies, and I believe that Ernest Goes to Camp and this film are two of his best. I watch this one every Halloween season. It has the perfect mix of comedy and horror. Perfect to watch with your son or daughter.

This movie is along the same lines of Ernest Scared Stupid in that it's a great film to watch with your children on Halloween. And since this is my All Time Top 10 Halloween List, why not include it? I remember seeing this when I was a little kid and loving it. I've seen it recently and it's held up very well over time. This is another movie that captures the atmosphere of Halloween perfectly.

Absolutely perfectly done horror film. This and The Evil Dead I & II should be on everyone's Halloween viewing list. Excellent, well paced films that grab hold of you from the opening scene and don't let go to the end credits. Go with Drag Me To Hell if you haven't seen either 3.

Freddie Krueger, one of the most recognizable horror villains of all time. You don't have to waste your time on any of the sequels, any Elm Street fan will tell you that the greatest is the original. It's the only one that is actually terrifying in certain spots. If I had to recommend another in the series it would be #3: Dream Warriors, but that is a very distant second.
