For one glorious season, and half of a second season, Eliza Dushku raced around the city trying to save people who had met their untimely demise. The show stayed good, even after they jettisoned most of the supporting cast in season 2, but it ultimately disappeared from the screen.

Amber Tamblyn was great in this show. So great in fact that I didn't even mind the fact that Joe Mantegna was in it.

Bryan Fuller's wonderfully offbeat comedy about a girl who hear voices coming from all sorts of everyday things...voices that compell her to interact with people and improve their lives, all the while forcing her to become a more well-rounded person. Didn't even last half of a season before FOX canned it.

Shakespearean? No. High art? No. But it never aspired to be. All it was was a great show with three female leads, somewhat sub-par special effects, decent-acting, and an interesting world. Overall, it was just a fun show to watch, and the characters actually grew and evolved...so the WB had to destroy it.

Sure it doesn't follow the books to the T, but it was still an original show with a great lead, and was populated with interesting characters. I was truly surprised when Sci-Fi cancelled this one.

Wonderfully creepy little show that showcased the awesomeness that is Gary Cole. His character oozed with darkness and evil, but never ventured over into being a caricature.

I guess this one suffered from 'alien overload' since it entered the fray against Invasion and Surface. For my money, this show was far superior to the others. The entire premise of the show, aliens sending a signal that causes people to go crazy and then begin changing into an alien, was much creepier and disturbing than most things on television, plus it had the stunning Carla Gugino.

Occasionally overacted and filled with cardboard secondary characters, this show was still better than most stuff on the air today, plus it had Jensen Ackles, which is enough to recommend it.
