Michel Thomas took the language-learning world by storm. With no books, no memorising and no homework, Michel teaches the basic grammar of the language painlessly. Using the method he perfected over 50 years, he shares his secret with the world - and 'makes it simple' (Sunday Times). In only a matter of hours, he gives you a comprehensive grasp of the structure of the language, enabling you to communicate with confidence. The present, future, conditional and past tenses are covered, and you are taught to think about the ideas that you are trying to communicate, rather than to translate words slavishly. He points out the similarities of the vocabulary in English and French and gives you the tools to guess the words you do not know, or think you do not know. In the 'Language Builders' Michel consolidates and expands your knowledge of structures and vocabulary in a one-on-one lecture session with you at home.

Customer Reviews
Decent, but not necessary
If you've completed the 8 hour course you will likely find the language builder handy. Michel covers and fair amount of phrases that come in handy while speaking, but little grammar points. I feel the material should have either been included in the original course or be sold a little cheaper. I recommend saving your money to buy his awesome Advanced course on Amazon.co.uk.
Really great thing
In this audio cd,Michel Thomas is teaching us the everyday french.
unlike other vrench vocabulary cds,
he is not only teaching new words and practical french,
he also very gracefully explains and give alot of tips during.
the thing is, at least for me i had to here this tape
alot of time to comprehend every thing but i really enjoyed it.highly recommanded
A complete fraud
So I bought this together with the Language Booster, and little did I know that they are the EXACT same product. The lessons in the Builder and Booster are word-for-word identical. Why they are priced so differently beats me: it's most likely a marketing trick to fool people into buying both (like I did). So beware, don't buy both!
