Customer Reviews
Excellent compared to other earbuds in same price range
The earphones are very good and are quite an improvement over the stock earphones that come with the Zune. There are 3 different sized pads, so this should work for most users who aren't adverse to in-canal earphones. It includes a plastic case that keeps the earphones and pads secure, but is a little unwieldly to wind the cord up and jam it all in. The base is strong and the treble is good, and since these are in-canal earphones, they do an adequate job of blocking out some noise, though they are not noise-canceling.
Good buy if you can get them cheap
Being a DAP junkie I found a good deal for a Zune 30gb player and decided to give it a try. So far pretty good but the included headphones as usual suck. I usually use my V-moda bass frequency earbuds with my Ipod,Zune and Iphone. But I wanted to try something new, so I decided on the Zune Premium earbuds. Not wanting to pay the $40.00 the Big Box stores were selling them for I found them for about $20.00 online new.
First, the carry case is very cool. It's about time somebody made a decent carrying case for headphones (Shure does a good job I'll admit to). The headphones themselves seem sturdy as any other "mid range" headphones. The cables are a little thin but unless your using these while doing some sort of extreme sporting you should be fine. The 3 earbud sizes that come with them is a nice touch (seems more companies are doing that for the mid to upper range of headphones).
The Sound? Well after about 3 days of burning them in I found that they were pretty decent. Not as good as my V-Modas but I would say just as good as Sony's or Apples "premium" headphones in the $40-$50 range. Good Bass and Mids, decent on the high end. I would say if you can find them cheap like I did then pick them up, but don't pay the
Great upgrade
1st The sound quality is awesome over the standard factory head set. For the size and price you get allot. Your music will be brought to life because the sound and bass is so crisp.
2nd The ear buds are very comfortable. To add to that it comes with a larger and smaller set of buds if you need more or less comfort.
3rd They have the same icey tone to them that the Zune has too. So it adds to it's sexy.
Finally the only set that compares is a BOSE set. But they cost $20.00 more and are not quite as nice looking while in your ear. So you should be satisfied if your looking for a quality set of ear buds.
