Great read...interesting main character, engrossing storyline, lots of action, mystery and a touch of romance. Includes magic users, shifters and vamps. Books got better with each one. Reminded me of a cross between the Mercy series and early Anita Blake books. Will reread later.

Engrossing paranormal mystery, action and suspense. Jean Claude is one of my all time favorite vampire characters. Definite rereads! Books 1 - 9 are excellent. Books 10 - 16 went downhill with the ardeur taking over the plotline but the latest book Skin Trade I thought was pretty good. Seemed to cut back the focus on the ardeur.

Great series with lots of action, suspense and romance! Focused primarily on vamps and vampire hunters. The main characters Cat & Bones are one of my favorite heros/heroines of all the books I've read. These are on my re-read shelf.

This was the preternatural story that started it all for me. My first vamp book. :) Although it's geared for young adults, I'm an adult and still found the story engrossing and I liked them enough to reread. Also check out the Midnight Sun download on the author's website. It's a partially finished draft of Twilight from Edward's perspective.

Strong, appealing lead character is a witch. Good supporting cast that includes werewolves, vamps and more. Lots of action and suspense as well as a bit of romance. Reminds me in style to the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance.

This is my favorite book of the Dark Hunter series, which contains Atlantean and Greek gods, vamp hunters and shapeshifters. Acheron is an extremely interesting character who appears throughout the entire series. These are on my re-read shelf.

Since the main character is an ex-cop turned private investigator, the stories contain a lot of mystery, suspense and action. If you watched the TV show, the story lines are a bit different. Personally I liked the books a bit better but the show was pretty good.

Hilarious vampire romance series! Read them in order because the characters in the first books appear in later books. Personally I liked the earlier Argeneau books that are focused on family members (with the funny match making mother) rather than the more recent Hunter novels.

I liked the Dark Ones series and Aisley Gray series by Katie MacAlister. They were funny, light hearted reads. Didn't get into the Silver Dragons series as well.
