We use it with a portable hand-held strapping unit.
This battery replaced one that came stock on our hand-held strapping unit (it puts the 1/2 inch plastic straps on a pallet to hold everything together).
The battery hasn't disappointed us yet and it seems to be holding a charge well.

Made in Japan. Seems like the real deal. Really cannot say because I haven't used it that long. If I have any problems, I will edit the review.
