Love It, Love It, Love It!!!!!
I don't write many reviews, but I just had to let everyone know that this is an excellent DVD for beginning and intermediate strength training. There really are endless possibilities and combintaions. This DVD allows you to focus on Abs, Arms, Legs or Total Body. Then you pick an intensity level and then the length of time for the workout. You can add this on to another workout or use this for a 20, 30, 40, sky is the limit workout. Even if you enter the exact same info. into the program day after day the DVD mixes and matches the exercises so there isn't a chance of getting bored. Each exercise lasts a minute. Linna demonstrates and then you are off to work. If you work out for 20 minutes you get 20 exercises... It also includes 3 different warm ups and three different cool downs for variety. I just can't say enough about the variety that this DVD can provide regardless of the amount of time that you have to workout. Stop looking for your answer to mixing up your strength training routine and buy this DVD!
The boredom-free workout
This DVD is really the cure to workout boredom. It's over 120+ one minute exercises vary each time to put in the DVD, so you'll even begin to look forward to seeing which one is chosen each time. You can vary both the length of your workout and the intensity - which various time intervals and a beginning and advanced skill level. You can also choose to focus on a specific area - such as upper body, lower body, and total body. I've read some of the reviewers say they didn't find this one challenging, but I found that I did - especially when I played the DVD for at least 20 minutes or more. I liked the options to workout in less time as well, as sometimes it's just a nice compliment to another workout. This DVD offers so much variety I'd say it would fit nicely into any routine.
Hardly Boredom Free...
I was slightly disappointed by this DVD. Although I like the concept of a constantly changing workout video, this one doesn't have enough "1 minute" segments in my opinion. I generally get the same segments repeated 3 or 4 times PER WORKOUT. It's not a horrible thing, but just don't get too overly impressed by the claims that there are a million workout possibilities contained within this DVD. Are there an almost infinite number of ORDERS these segments could be put in? Sure. But when the segments are repeated multiple times within the same 15 minutes, it kind of defeats an "boredom busting" qualities this DVD might have.
