Customer Reviews

very nice and inspiring artwork but not enough detail about techniques used4
this book only brievly describe the techniques used and sometimes what medium was used is not even mentioned. This is a nice book for the artwork, but as a teatching tool, it is not the book to buy. There are a few useful tips and a rough explanation with visual on how a mountain lion with cubs painting was done, but all we see from that is the 3 main step of that painting. Most exemple don't even go there and only have a bit of text explanation.

A stunning collection5
A stunning collection of masterworks from wildlife artists with detailed and helpful insights into their techniques. Not to be missed!

Great for professional artists5
Answered a few questions I personally had about some specific techniques. Not for the beginning artist but certainly inspirational and a great library addition. A bit vague but certainly worth the money for any serious wildlife artist. I personally have gotten more from this book then many others in my vast library.
