It is recommended to treat boots with a water-proofing spray for suede products before wearing outdoors. Great product. Nice and warm for those East Coast winters. They do however run rather small. My daughter is normally a size 9 1/2, I bought an 11 thinking they would get by for two seasons, but they just fit. Will absolutely buy a bigger size for next year.

bearpaw boots are pretty good!
I bought a pair of these instead of Uggs because they are reasonably priced and I don't like buying expensive shoes when they will soon be too small. These boots are being worn all the time and very happily - my 7 year old daughter loves them.
