This eight-volume set is the end product of a series of classes I conducted at our Foundation's former location in New York. The classes consisted of a line-by-line analysis of the lessons, introductions, reviews, summaries, and the Epilogue. I have considerably enlarged some of the original discussion, supplying additional references to other relevant portions of the Course, the Preface, the two pamphlets, poems from The Gifts of God, and the prose poem "The Gifts of God." This work can thus be seen as a complete Course companion to accompany students on their own journey through the workbook. My purpose in presenting the classes originally, as it remains in this book, was to help students better understand the meaning of the lessons and their place in the curriculum of A Course in Miracles, and most of all, to help students see the importance of applying the daily lessons to their everyday lives. Without such application, the brilliance of Jesus' words is wasted, and they become simply a sterile system of intellectual teachings. This book can be read in at least three ways: 1) straight through, as one would do with the text; 2) different lessons at different times; or 3) one lesson at a time, as a companion to each lesson. I would urge students, however, if they are doing the workbook for the first time, to read the lessons as they are, without my commentary. In other words, as with all my other work on A Course in Miracles, this book is meant to supplement a student's experience of the workbook, not to substitute for the workbook as it was given to us. Fantastic!
This set of eight books has Ken's detailed commentary on each lesson. Relevant quotes from the Text are included in the comments, too, making the whole lesson come alive. If you are a Course student and are doing the lessons, you will absolutely love this set. Enjoy!

The best accompanying workbook to ACIM!! Must read.
In my 30 yrs of school in music, philosophy and art I have never found a more comprehensive and consistent ideology than in "A Course In Miracles". It is the best book I ever read and will ever read. Just When I Thought I Understood the Lessons
I did the entire ACIM Workbook on my own over the past year when I frist became an ACIM student, but after seeing Ken Wapnick a few times in person and listening to some of his CD lessons, I decided next time I do the Workbook, I'll do it with his "Journey through the Workbook."

I have to say, even with my expectations high based on other things I've heard and read from Ken, this just totally blew my mind. Each lesson is carefully explained, drawing on excerpts from the Text, Manual for Teachers, and other Workbook lessons, to show how intricately related everything in ACIM is. He also repeats many important points, reminding the student in a gentle, clear manner how difficult many of these ideas are and how much our ego wants to resist them and its ultimate demise that will result if we accept and practice what the lessons teach. Just like the Workbook lessons themselves, Ken's tone comes from a place of compassion and understanding.

I'm only up to lesson 30 now, but I feel this 8 volume set was worth every penny even if I never read another page. My understanding is so greatly enhanced of these early lessons, I eagerly look forward to my next daily dose of truth and wisdom and the inner peace it brings me.
