Product Description

The subject of this book drew its inspiration from the image of an arch immortalized by D. H. Lawrence in his novel "The Rainbow." As the child in the story was freed to live her life framed by the pillars of love and strength represented by her parents, so Jesus asks us to view our daily lives as framed between the pillars of forgiveness and his love, allowing their quiet strength and gentle protection to nourish our experience and sustain our learning. We thus grow in our recognition of the contrast between life under the arch of his love and outside it. Walt Waltman's thoughts also lend their inspiration to the life of universal love and compassion under the arch:

"Whoever degrades another degrades me:
And whatever is done or said returns at last to me."

The discussion includes guiding students in resolving their specific dilemmas and conflicts from the perspective of Jesus' arch of forgiveness.

The Arch of Forgiveness5
Incredibly profound and insightful! Some of the poems were so inspirational I read them to my family at grace, and we are Catholic, and they were perfect!

Arch of Forgiveness5
This is a little gem. This pamphlet exemplifies the adage that "good things come in small packages." Kenneth Wapnick gives the most beautifully succinct description of the essence of, A Cousrse In Miracles." He is definitely a down to earth, intelligent and heartfelt teacher of this course. I love his use of metaphor and literature to explain metaphysical truths. If I could only have one small book to take with me to a desert island, it would be this one. He makes engaging ACIM, really simple, workable, and offers a breath of deep vision that motivates one to proceed ahead in forgiveness, love and joy. I have found it something I read again and again and truly helps to inspire me to continue along the road of forgiveness, even when I become fatigued or discouraged. This book is a blessing.
