Plant Anyway!
I am a bit biased because Felder is one of my favorite MPB radio hosts. The Mississippi Fruit and Vegetable Book is wonderful because it explains the basics of properly setting up a garden and highlights popular (and not so popular) plants without intimidating beginners. This book is easy to read and contains valuable information for starting and maintaining food producing plants.
