The Basics

• Processor: Combining strong performance with efficient usage of power, the 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 MK-36 is uniquely optimized to power today's thinnest notebooks. It's also built for tomorrow's 64-bit applications, which will require a processor with significant power. It includes such AMD technology features as HyperTransport (which increases the communication between integrated circuits), PowerNow! (which enables longer battery life and reduced heat generation), and Enhanced Virus Protection (which works with Windows XP Service Pack 2 to better withstand attacks from certain classes of viruses). It also features a 512 KB L2 cache and up to 1600 MHz front-side bus (FSB). (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)
• Hard Drive: The 120 GB hard drive (5400 RPM) offers enough to room to hold a digital audio library of over 20,000 songs and still have room left over for movies, games, and a large collection of software. This Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive also quickens the pace with a higher speed transfer of data--akin to FireWire and USB 2.0.

HP Pavillion - Excellent Value
HP notebooks offer excellent value and have a great ergonomic design. If you skip installing the free-trial software, you have a neat notebook with fast wireless connectivity and a great LCD screen. The touchpad also works nicely. The only reason i was bugged it the price dropped 2 days after I ordered it on Amazon. Shipped real fast after i placed the order -like in 12 hours !

Excellent Choise
This laptop is an excellent choise for people that can't spend a lot of money but need a good machine, because its has a very good processor (the AMD Turion processor is very fast), enough ram memory and the others parts are nice too. The only problem is the battery charge that it only last 2 hours.

Very Happy
For the most part I realy like my new laptop. My only problem is that my printer and some other stuff needs drivers to work with Vista, not big deal at all, just a pain.
