The Perfect Work Shoes
I bought the 8M in black kid. When I first tried on these shoes, they were tight in the toe area and it felt as though it was about 1/4 to 1/2 size smaller in length than it should have been. But the leather is so soft that I squeeze my feet in them. After walking around for 30 minutes while my feet stretched the leather and my imagination going wild about threads popping, the toe area is still tight but the shoes fit (snugly). I'm a full 8M and I probably should have bought the 8 1/2. As for the style; I LOVE the style. I'm always looking for conservative work shoes and these fit the bill perfectly. The pointed toe elongates the foot but is not so pointed that they look ... witchy. I really don't like toe cleavage and these shoes only show the barest hint of pinky toe cleavage. There probably would have been none had I gotten the 1/2 size larger. The heel height is also perfect. It is high enough to give a bit of height but low enough to be comfortable to walk in.

Stylish and comfortable heel height
I bought this shoe in cognac, which is a nice tortoise-shell look. It's a comfortable heel height, but a little tight in the toe area. I'm sure they'll become more comfortable with wear. I have several pairs of pointy-toed shoes and these would look better with a longer point. I would really like these if they came in a leopard-print, but this is an affordable alterative and the perfect heel height for me.

a little disappointed
I just received them today. Got a little disappointed with the shoes. The leather looks cheap and fake, poor quality. And the shape of the shoe is not sharp enough. But it's ok to wear to work. Walking is ok, does not hurt my feet. Since they are so cheap, I would not bother returning them. But they are only worth the price charged.
